Approach tag
Custom
Your mix. Notes on the pod, not a Redbud SKU.
Use this tag to find families who want this methodology.
In a small parent-hired group
The week is whatever mix the families wrote on the pod: a classical morning, a nature afternoon, a math book from a district list. The hired adult follows those notes. There is no Redbud “custom package” and no school operating system behind the tag.
Why a parent might want this
A parent might not want a single named philosophy. Mixing is allowed. The tag only says the notes on the pod are the source of truth — not that Redbud designed a unique program for you.
What it is not
Not a Redbud SKU. Not a custom textbook or lesson plan we write. Indiana still has no required homeschool list; the parent still owns instruction under IC 20-33-2-28.
Recommended reading for parents
We do not sell these. They are parent reading — books, archives, and official sites. Link-outs only. Redbud is not a bookstore and not a curriculum publisher.
Indiana Department of Education
Official page on reporting and parent duty. Not a curriculum we sell.
Indiana Department of Education
State starting notes — research, law, “comparison shop.” Not a Redbud program.
Indiana Department of Education
Some mixed pods glance at the official lists. Glancing is not “meets Indiana standards.”
Wikipedia
A broad overview of home education — not a custom SKU.

Approach tags are labels families put on a pod. They are not a Redbud SKU and not a catalog. Redbud is not a school. Indiana has no required homeschool curriculum list. The parent owns instruction — including the duty of equivalent instruction under IC 20-33-2-28.
