FAQ

Is Redbud a school?: No. We are a meeting place and a marketplace. Parents form the group and hire the teacher.
Do you employ teachers?: Families hire and pay the teacher. Redbud does not put teachers on payroll.
Do I need a state-approved curriculum?: Indiana has no state-approved homeschool curriculum list. Tags describe an approach, not a required program. Parents still owe instruction equivalent to that given in public schools (IC 20-33-2-28); that duty stays with the parent, not Redbud.
Do you vet teachers?: No. Families decide. We do not background-check as a service.
Is this ESA / INESA?: No. We don’t process ESA money.
Who can see pods and teachers?: People with an account. Landing, Approaches, Catalog, FAQ, and Legal stay public.
Where do we actually meet?: In the real world, arranged by the families. Redbud is not the classroom.
